The struggle with the daisy is finally over and thoughts of a new piece are swimming around my head. Think I'll go back to some everyday inanimate objects that I understand. I bought a couple of new canvases and am itching to get started on them.

So...subconsciously you didn't want to finish this piece? It's a beauty even being the present emotional distrust of the subject matter!
I don't know. Things kept stopping me from finsihing this piece and its been one I really struggled with. Was it my subconscious stopping me?

Hard to say what stopped you but you got through it. Processing feelings, even unexplained ones, can slow creativity down. Still, I love the piece and look forward to more paintings from you, inanimate or animate. They all seem alive and energetic to me, nevertheless!!!
