Well its been a week since I've been at the easel. I thought I'd take a break and catch up on some nagging home duties. When I'm in the full art swing I let a lot of things slide, only doing the necessities, taking every opportunity to work on my art. Then there comes a time when you say enough is enough. You have to catch up on those long neglected chores. Once done I feel great. A few more little details and I'll be back to the easel probably doing another inanimate everyday object that makes a house a home.
Weather is cooler today YAY!

Sounds like those inanimate objects are inspired by the daily upkeep! Can't wait to see what's coming!
Yes, it is easy to ignore the chores that are piling up around you, when the others are so important to you and so much fun! I decided to get the house painted (inside) just because that will force me to empty rooms and deep clean! That's what I have to do!
Hi- I was just perusing your blog again and realized how huge your work is! That's bold. I like that. Can't wait to see more.
No Doris I think daily upkeep is imspired by inanimate objects hehehe.
Yes I'm in a real deep cleaning mode at the moment April. No art till its all done.
Deborah, I really enjoy doing large work and actually have trouble doing anything small. I love it when the things I paint are larger than life. It elevates their importance I reckon.
Hey Girl where you at??? everything ok?

Hi Uta,
Have loved watching your inanimate series develop. They are very mesmorizing. I love how your images pop out of dreamy backgrounds. Can't wait to seem more. Balance I guess regarding the real world vs. art zone world. Lately, it's been getting harder and harder for me to detach from my creativity. A good thing, I'm sure!
