F I N I S H E D
I have finished my goal of 30 pieces for the exhibition with one week to go!!! No photo yet as the medium is still drying. It took roughly 8 months (not counting December as Christmas prep gets in the way). That's an average of one piece per week. It actually feels strange. I feel happy and lost all at the same time. I am going to give our place a much needed clean. Catch up on all those things I've let slide while I concentrated on my art. And then what??? What am I going to do all day??? What am I going to think about??? What am I going to talk about??? This hectic pace has become normal now hehehe. Tuesday and Wednesday next week will be spent hanging the exhibition. Luckily the gallery has someone who is an expert on hanging and making the whole exhibition look good so I will be listening to his advice for sure. Here's the link to the gallery if you want to check out what it looks like. http://www.gallerym.net.au/ When the next newsletter comes out there will be a write up about our exhibition which is on the website as well. I am going to make a cup of coffee now and put my feet up and see how that feels.

Act like you have a new show deadline and create! And then watch out you'll have one. Time fill up too easily and nothing is getting made.
Good idea Katherine. I have a goal once the exhibition is up and that is to clean out our large workshop and set up a professional looking studio. Life drawing is one of the activities planned and my daughter tells me we have artists and models on the waiting list already.
isn't funny how we get advice on how to prepare for the show and reach the goals we have set but is there a guide like that says what to do after wards? I means this on the thinking level that is. We/I can fill the day with the doables and move on to the next but I share with you it's almost like a silent thing for me. Don't know how you truely feel but the show/Exhibit is the completion of the course the closing on the whole event. Well I'm going to leave you to your wonderful ideas of cleaning the workshop and moving forward what a plan....Yes!
Well done lady, Well done.

So very proud to know you! And have followed along on your journey! Once that studio is ready...the house will likely stay cleaner?
Again thanks Laura for all your support and encouragement. It has made such a difference to me. (((((hugs)))))
Thanks to you also Doris for always believing in me. Wish you could come and play in my studio. (((((hugs))))) to you too.
This is wonderful , Uta! You are so organized; I can't believe it. Good for you! Enjoy!
