My first portrait is finished. There's a lot that could be better but I will improve with more practice. I learnt a lot! I also know my concept works. I can't wait to start the next one and put in practice what I learnt from this one. With the holiday celebrations looming I'm not sure how much studio time I can fit in. My list is so long I really shouldn't be in the studio at all :(

OH MY GOODNESS! Uta, simply wonderful. First try huh?
Magnifique! You've really captured that twinkle in your eye!
Thanks again ladies.
And Suz I can't work out all the abbreviations but the last three would be The Blue Shoes I reckon.
Yes Elena my first try. I did however do a bust of myself in clay once.
Ooh I didn't realise I had a twinkle in my eye.
Absolutely fantastic! Can't wait to see more.
If this is pretty much the first try, can only imagine what the future holds for you with portraits. I've always been dazzled by Laura's figure drawings using collage/paper techniques, now you've got your own unique stamp too with the collage portraits. Keep twinkling and smiling!
Uta! Everything you touch is wonderful! And yes! You do have a twinkle!
You have really captured your likeness, and the outcome is beautiful. How about one of Zoe?
April,
What a lovely thing to say :)
Deborah,
Yes there will be one of Zoe in the future and one of Troy (son) and Julia (daughter). A whole year of exploration :)
