Heat in the Studio

I deleted all of 2007 posts and am still unable to upload pictures. I guess it takes some time for blogger to catch up with me. In the meantime if you want a sneak peek of my latest painting you will have to click here.

I am working feverishly to meet the deadline. Delivery is in just over 10 weeks aaaaaggggghhhhh! From the Gallery Walls of the Imagination opens at Gallery M, 287 Diagonal Road Oaklands Park South Australia, on February 8th, 2013 at 6:45pm. The exhibition runs till March 3rd. The weather is heating up and its getting mighty hot in the studio. The paint just about dries on the brush before it reaches the canvas. I am trying to organise some space inside the house where its so much cooler. Plus there is air conditioning for extremely hot days. I am just going to have to bite the bullet and make some room. Summer is fast approaching and the days are only going to get hotter. I usually take a break over the summer but as I just had three months off hanging around my cyber friends in America I need to keep working now. Plus there is that dreaded deadline!!!! Remember to keep checking out Glenn Stenson's blog. The idea of the exhibition originated from his work.

Keep your cool, Uta. You might try dipping your paint brush into your coffee, I heard it helps keep it from drying out so quickly;-)

Hey Uta,

It takes a MINIMUM of 24 hours for Blogger to catch up with deleted pics, frequently longer, as I have heard from friends.
I guess I have not hit critical mass on my blog yet...
Just catching up with your work and Glenn's~~eyes are better and Blogger decided to put your posts in my dashboard again. *shakes head*

XXOO~~

Uta, first....you look fabulous!! I think you lost weight and your hair is great. Also, I went back and read your blog post for almost a year and found out you were here and you didn't come to see me! I'm so bummed. Next time you plan a trip please come to stay with me. I can show you around the D.C. area. It looks like you had a wonderful time and met so many great internet friends. Lucky duck!
I guess you didn't have time to paint in the US! I'm so excited about your upcoming show! I work in my studio every day and hardly ever post on my blog. Have to do better at that. So, keep in touch.....hugs.

Hi Deb!!!! Nice to hear from you again. I spent three months in the U.S. A month in Chicago area and two months in Seattle. I don't think I was in your neck of the woods. I am so glad we connected again!!!!

Uta - did you delete those pix from Picasa? That's what I had to learn how to do.
