Locked Away

My leg was getting better and then it took a turn for the worst. So not only am I locked inside due to the weather with temperatures of 40c+ (104F+) but I'm also sitting/laying around trying to rest this darn leg. I do not do well when I'm incapacitated. I feel like I have my wings clipped. The good thing is (I try to look on the bright side hehehe) its too hot to work in the studio, so if I had to have a sore leg now is the perfect time. I must say though that I have a much brighter outlook today which I'm sure makes Bob's life easier hehehe.

Oh Uta, have you had your leg checked? I hope you'll be feeling better soon. Should I mail you a cooler full of snow?

Over summer we get a week here and there of temperatures over 40c (104F). I moan about the heat but I still love summer. Long lazy days. We live near the beach and its nice to walk on the beach in the evening to cool down. Snow would be a nice change but not sure I could survive a whole winter.

I hope your leg is feeling better soon. You may want to have it checked out, just in case. In the meantime, have you checked out the zentangle site on the right side of the Artist Way site? It is just the thing for keeping your mind creative when you are relativly immobile.

There you go Miki... we can leave a tribal sister down long here we all are thinking of ways to keep here from fall off the creative horse as we travel long. I was going to say use your time wisely while you heal and then Miki suggested the zen tangles what a great idea.. but if just let it go with the flow is easier then do it.

Good healing vibes being sent your way.

Well, I'm sending some more healing your way. I love the lazy dog days of summer. Wish I had a job that could cooperate and give me those days to lull in the pool. Well, someday when I'm a well known self sufficent artist, I will lull in the pool again. Maybe with some cucumbers over my eyes.
